special lady has meticulously cared for St Nicholas Greek Orthodox
Cathedral in Tarpon Springs, Florida. A
Kalymnion, she greets all visitors with a warm and welcoming smile. |
|

| Maria
Pantelis shares memories with Vasile Faklis. She taught Vasile as
a child in Greek school. She has taught 3 generations of Greek
families living in Tarpon Springs, and served for over 20 years as
President of the Dodecanese Association of Tarpon Springs. |

| It’s easy to see why Sergio Haritos holds a 7th
degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, has competed in 48 countries
worldwide and is an international champion! |

| Sergio Haritos is
well known in the international world of Karate and Tae Kwon Do. Sergio served as Captain of the US national
team, and owns multiple martial arts schools in Greece and the U.S. Several years ago Sergio was hosted by Symi’s
Mayor and performed a martial arts exhibition. He
lives and teaches in Tarpon Springs, but grew up in Kalymnos. His father was from Symi, and his mother from
Kalymnos. |
