Greek island cruising aboard Mikros Kosmos II

Mikros Kosmos II is a comfortable and attractive 22.6 metre long traditional wooden motor sailer, built specifically for chartering these waters in affordable style

With her reliable diesel engines and experienced crew, you can explore the bays and discover the delights of Greek island cruising with complete confidence

A typical cabin.

Itineraries are flexible, starting from either Kos or Rhodes as both are conveniently located for air links. You can choose from several islands in the Dodecanese group. If you are familiar with these islands, you probably have your own preferences and ideas. Whether you do a handful of islands in depth or see as many as time permits is up to you

Usually a day consists of weighing anchor shortly after breakfast and cruising for several hours to a suitable anchorage. After lunch, the afternoon can be spent swimming, snorkelling, leisure fishing, windsurfing, hiking and exploring the delights ashore with our inflatable runabout. In the evening, the tavernas await you

We are happy to advise you and provide you with more details. Please note, while it is possible to visit the Turkish coast, the harbour and administrative costs involved are very high and would have to be met by you

Below is a sampler of some of the places you could visit

The Dodecanese islands

Kos & Rhodes

Start in one and finish in the other, or return to where you started. It's up to you and your flight arrangements

Both islands offer old towns, Crusader ruins and other places worth seeing as well as interesting shopping

If you go to Kos, make sure you visit the giant plane tree where, according to legend, Hippocrates practiced medicine

There are many tavernas along the waterfront where you can enjoy your evening meal
